Dr. Abhishek Bhalerao
Dr Abhishek Bhalerao is a board-certified urologist and a fourth-generation doctor. He completed his superspecialization in urology from Bangalore.
In 2022 he added Transgender Surgery to his roster of skills under the guidance of Doctor Miroslav Djordjevicin, a world leader in Transgender surgery, from Belgrade, Europe.
Healing and treating are not synonymous
His other guru is his father, Dr Umesh Bhalerao, also a urologist who guided him at every step of the way. This family tradition of 85 years of healthcare has taught him ethics, morality, and most importantly acknowledgment that patients are more than mere bodies.
Having spent years traveling across the world, Dr Abhishek was exposed to different cultural paradigms, leading him to recognize the need for a transformative service like Miro Clinic in the Indian Medical landscape.
